If Mason jars aren't readily available to you, start collecting jam jars, beetroot jars, pickles etc.

Over a few months, with help from a few friends you would be surprised what you would accumulate.

The LED lights that are used in a lot of these designs are available in IKEA and other homeware suppliers.
